Description:

Lead Wars is a turn-based strategy game that combines smart thinking with physical skill. It recreates the experience of the classic paper war games played before portable gaming devices became popular. All you need is a pencil, some paper, and a lot of imagination!

With its unique concept, Lead Wars has achieved tremendous success. It has been ranked as the #1 Strategy Game in 60 countries!

In Lead Wars, you take control of a fleet of planes, tanks, and artillery units. Each player takes turns flicking a pencil on a hand-drawn battlefield, using long curve shots and strategic moves to outwit and outskill their opponent.

Here's what the experts have to say about Lead Wars:

<ul>
 <li>"The execution is what makes Lead Wars shine. It is a startlingly unique and fabulous little game." - MacReview.com</li>
 <li>"Surprisingly deep... from a strategic perspective, Lead Wars is a beautiful achievement." - GamePro.com</li>
 <li>"Some battles are easily solved puzzles, while others start to feel more like chess games." - PadGadget.com</li>
 <li>"You'll definitely love this game." - TouchReviews.net</li>
 <li>"If you're looking for a great game to play with friends, we suggest grabbing this one... it really shines on the iPad." - MacNN.com</li>
 <li>"A brilliantly implemented game." - iPhone-Experience.com</li>
 <li>"Lead Wars has a rare quality; the simulation is actually better than that which it simulates." - iTunes review by djflippy</li>
</ul>

Lead Wars is not your typical path-drawing game. It is a realistic simulation of the traditional game played with an actual pencil.

The flick mechanic in the game works just like it does in real life. You can try it out for yourself! Simply point a pencil straight down onto a piece of paper, hold it by the top with one finger, and slowly tilt the top of the pencil. Beyond a critical angle, the tip will slip away and leave a line on the paper. This line determines your move or shot on the battlefield.

Lead Wars replicates this mechanic using the touch-screen, making it feel like you are touching the top of a real pencil. The best part of playing Lead Wars on your iOS device is the elimination of any need to erase your previous moves. There are no arguments about whether a shot hit or not, and there are no dangerous flying pencils! The physical dexterity required to make your move adds challenge, but it also makes the game more enjoyable and rewarding, especially when you pull off that near-impossible curve shot around a wall to achieve victory!
